We all know that access to information during a disaster saves lives. Yet,a severe windstorm lead to a terrible realization that we were not reaching some groups with traditional communications methods. This experience demonstrated the need to leverage CBO partnerships to develop systems that will help us communicate most effectively during an emergency.
